A little about me

My journey into plumbing and heating began in 2002, although it wasn't the path I had originally planned. In 2001, at the age of 19, I was diagnosed with cancer. After treatment, I spent almost a year unable to work. As my health improved, I wanted to learn a practical trade that would allow me to build something meaningful for the future.

I've always enjoyed working with my hands and solving practical problems, so I enrolled at my local college to study Mechanical Engineering and Plumbing & Heating. What started as a fresh start soon became something I genuinely enjoyed. After finding an apprenticeship, I spent my days on site and my evenings at college. Those years taught me not only the technical side of the trade but also the importance of doing things properly and never cutting corners.

In 2006, after completing my qualifications — including becoming Gas Safe registered — I started my own business. Since then, the business has grown steadily through recommendations from customers rather than advertising.

How the business grew

In 2011, I joined the Corgi HomePlan network, carrying out servicing and repairs for homeowners across London. Working with a wide variety of heating systems every day gave me invaluable experience in fault finding, diagnostics and customer care — and I'm pleased that this partnership continues to this day.

As the industry began moving towards renewable technologies, I completed further training in heat pumps and air conditioning, eventually becoming an approved service partner for Daikin. That experience broadened my knowledge beyond traditional gas heating and allowed me to work confidently with both renewable heating systems and air conditioning. I also began working closely with ATAG, carrying out warranty repairs, servicing and installations of their boilers — deepening my technical knowledge while supporting customers with high-quality heating systems.

Today, our work covers far more than domestic plumbing and boilers. We provide heating, plumbing, air conditioning and renewable energy services for both residential and commercial customers, including commercial boiler plant rooms, VRV and VRF air conditioning systems, heat pumps and planned maintenance.

I also speak fluent English, Italian and Albanian, making sure every customer feels fully understood — whether we're discussing technical specifications or just having a friendly chat about your project.

• Respect the home. Clean overshoes, tidy pipework, neat reinstatement. Always.

• Treat people the way you'd like to be treated. Be honest, turn up when you say you will, explain things clearly, and recommend only the work that is genuinely needed.

I'm still learning too. The heating and air conditioning industry is constantly changing, with new technologies, renewable systems and smarter controls being introduced all the time. I enjoy keeping up to date so that I can continue offering customers honest advice and reliable workmanship.
