Notting Hill loft conversion — cool bedroom with no outdoor condenser
A two-bedroom flat in Notting Hill had a converted loft used as the main bedroom. The room faced south-west with large rooflights, and summer temperatures regularly climbed above 30°C, making it unusable for sleeping.
The building had no shared roof space or balcony for a standard condenser, so we specified a water-cooled Parkair MCW 2.0 system with the heat pump module hidden in the utility cupboard. A single low-profile indoor unit was mounted on the gable wall, angled to deliver even airflow across the sloping ceiling.
